Goal: Reach X population on Via Sol by building facilities as needed.
Building things costs both resources and money. Resources are gained through building quarries, and money is gained from your cities. Everything you build increases your power drain, except the power plant, which increases your power output.
If you run out of power, people will start dying rapidly until power is restored. As a short term solution, you can power down anything except power plants and cities. (You will receive an audible warning if power is low or critical.)
The higher population you have, the more cities you will need, and the more cities you have, the faster your population will grow. If you don''t have enough cities, your money will be drained into social support programs until you can build more cities. If you run out of money, you'll get kicked out of office (and lose).
Tip: Don't build your cities too close to one another or the ocean or it may prove difficult to click the buttons on the cities. Especially true for your first city, which is your only city which can build things!)
